Have you ever experienced the following problem:
After installation of the Car DVD player with LCD monitor (especially 7″ touch screen LCD and 6.2″ touch screen LCD system). When you insert a dvd or cd into the system, the unit turns off by itself out of no reason. You re-check all the connection and review the manual once again. Nothing wrong.
The first thing you should check on is the current of the positive power from car. The current is measured by Ampere (A). You may connect the red and yellow wires to the power source where it provide lower A. Although the voltage of
the vehicle is 12V, you should check the Ampere too. Some of the power source wire are hooked up 1A or lessresistance before connecting to your dvd player. Those current may not be enough to power up your dvd player, especially the motorized touchscreen LCD dvd player.
The lack of current A from power source may cause the system to turn off by itself. The motorized LCD consume lot of power too. So higher current capacity is recommended. The minimum current should be 2A or higher.
